TRUST
When navigating cultural differences, the biggest hurdle many people face is the worry that they will do or say the wrong thing. The fear of making a mistake prevents people from taking risks.
Having a strong, trusting, learning environment is essential to taking new risks and applying new skills as you grow. In my past coaching work, 100% of survey respondents note that they have developed a rapport and trust that provides them with a safe space to grow and reflect on their educational and leadership practice.
RELATIONSHIPS
[Kennedy] and I work together at issues, problems, challenges and goals specific to me. She lets me drive the themes and goals of our work based on my needs, while helping me clarify goals and find resources and research that are applicable to reaching those goals. --A Teacher-Leader
